Calculator inputs

The calculators process your entries within your browser. We do not send their values to analytics or marketing services, save them to browser storage or attach them to a user account. A scenario link you choose to create contains the values in its fragment. Anyone with that link can read them. Browsers may retain opened URLs in history. Reloading restores the default example unless you open a shared scenario.

Your optional choices

Analytics and marketing measurement have separate choices. Both are off for a first visit until you select them and save. An earlier Analytics permission does not authorize Meta Pixel. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your choices or reject both. Closing the panel keeps existing choices. The site works with both options off.

We store your choices in this browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, a choice lasts only for the current page. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep both services off. Neither service loads in downloaded pages or on localhost. Withdrawal stops future measurement and removes this site's related cookies; it does not delete events already sent. An open page may reload when permission is withdrawn.

Google Analytics

With Analytics permission, Google receives page views and selected actions: calculator submissions, scenario-link creation and affiliate-link clicks. We do not send calculator values, email addresses, full outbound product URLs, or the page URL's query and fragment. We separately pass a small set of fixed campaign labels from our own Facebook links to identify which post brought a visit. Referral information is limited to the referring origin. Google also processes technical information such as IP address and browser information under its own practices. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled in this integration.

Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga, configured for up to 180 days. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data practices.

Meta Pixel: marketing measurement

Only if you select marketing measurement, we load Meta Pixel to send a PageView event on eligible pages. Meta may receive the visited URL, referring page, IP address, browser and device information, and cookie or click identifiers. It may associate this activity with your Meta account and use it for measurement, audience matching and advertising under its policies. This is separate from Google Analytics.

We disable automatic event configuration and do not provide names, email addresses, phone numbers or calculator values for advanced matching. We do not use the Conversions API. The Pixel is excluded from all pages with a calculator (including the homepage), URLs with fragments, and URLs with unrecognized query parameters. It is also skipped when the referring URL does not pass these checks. Only our fixed Facebook campaign labels and a Facebook click identifier are accepted in page queries. This conservative setup means not every Facebook visit is counted.

Meta can use first-party cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, typically for up to 90 days, and may read or set cookies on its own domains. Browser settings and Meta's implementation can affect cookie duration. Our rejection control removes this site's Meta cookies; it cannot remove cookies set by Facebook on Facebook's own domain. See Meta's Privacy Policy, Meta's Cookies Policy and your Meta account's privacy settings.

Hosting and other information

The public site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested page and timestamp, to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. This site has no newsletter form, comments, checkout or account registration. Google AdSense and display advertisements are not active. Meta measurement does not display ads on this site.

External links and affiliates

Links take you to other organizations' websites, which handle information under their own policies. These pages do not contact those sites merely to display ordinary links.

Some shopping links are Amazon affiliate links containing our affiliate identifier. If you follow one, Amazon may use cookies and other tracking to attribute qualifying purchases. We do not load Amazon advertising scripts, embedded product images or Amazon tracking pixels. See our commercial disclosure and the Amazon Privacy Notice.

Processing and your requests

We rely on your optional choice before loading visitor analytics or marketing measurement. Hosting information supports delivery and security. Providers may process information outside your country; their notices describe applicable safeguards, retention and rights. Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information we hold. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing or complain to a data protection authority. Withdrawing optional consent does not affect earlier processing.

Contact

Email [email protected].

If you email us, your email provider and our receiving service process the message. Avoid including sensitive information. We use correspondence to respond to your request and handle necessary follow-up.

Future changes

We will revise this notice and the relevant choices before adding other services. Future AdSense integration will require its own applicable consent setup; today's choices do not activate it.
